We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Office Assistant / Sales Assistant to join our busy carpet and flooring retail shop. This is a varied role combining administrative duties with face-to-face customer service and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carrying out general office and administrative tasks
* Answering phone calls and responding to customer enquiries
* Assisting customers in-store with product selection
* Advising on carpets and flooring options
* Processing orders and maintaining accurate records
* Supporting day-to-day running of the shop
Working Hours:
* Must be available to work Saturdays
* A mutual day off will be provided during the week
Requirements:
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Basic computer literacy
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to multitask in a busy environment
* Previous retail or flooring experience is desirable but not essential
