Marketing & Commercial Support Specialist
This role provides marketing and commercial support within the Commercial team, helping to strengthen Retronix’s brand presence and improve coordination across Business Development, Operations, and Finance.
It is a varied position, combining creative marketing delivery with structured commercial tasks — ideal for someone who enjoys working across functions, contributing to both day‑to‑day activity and wider business growth.
Working as part of a collaborative team, the postholder will help plan and deliver marketing content, assist with quotations and customer communications, and ensure consistent visibility of commercial activity across the business.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver the company’s annual marketing calendar, coordinating activity across digital, print, and events.
* Develop engaging, technically accurate content for LinkedIn, the company website, and marketing collateral for Recruitment.
* Maintain and enhance Retronix’s online presence — updating web pages, parts listings, and social channels with relevant, high‑quality material.
* Design and proof marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and case studies, ensuring brand consistency.
* Manage photography, video, and news updates to promote company capability and achievements.
* Measure and report on marketing performance, providing insight and recommendations for improvement to SLT.
* Support internal communications and ensure alignment of brand tone across all regions.
Commercial Support
* Assist the Business Development team in preparing quotations, proposals, and tender documentation.
* Maintain CRM data accuracy — ensuring all customer opportunities, quotes, and communications are up to date.
* Track the status of quotes, purchase orders, and customer documentation, supporting smooth handover to Operations and Finance.
* Prepare management summaries and pipeline reports, supporting visibility of commercial performance.
* Coordinate customer presentations and assist with marketing elements of bids and tenders.
* Manage a structured repository of customer contracts, NDAs, and related commercial documentation.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with Operations, Finance, and Recruitment to align marketing, sales, and internal initiatives.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial and marketing processes, templates, and tools.
* Support the Global Business Strategy Manager in developing brand strategy and identifying new opportunities to promote Retronix globally.
* Manage social media and advertising for our parts business and our online eBay shop.
Skills & Experience
* Background in marketing, communications, or commercial coordination within a B2B environment — ideally supporting technical, engineering, or manufacturing services.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to translate technical information into engaging content.
* Proven capability in managing social media platforms, websites, and CRM tools.
* Proficient in Microsoft 365 and familiar with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities independently.
* Comfortable liaising across departments and working within a fast‑moving, international environment.
* Analytical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.

Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
