Head of Health & Safety – Kent - Perm
We’re partnering with a large, complex UK organisation operating in a high-risk, fast-moving environment to appoint a Head of Health & Safety.
This is a senior leadership role with real influence — responsible for shaping, embedding and championing a progressive Health & Safety culture across a diverse operational estate. You’ll work closely with Executive leadership and the Board, using insight, data and visible leadership to move the organisation beyond compliance and towards true cultural ownership.
Key highlights:
* Lead and evolve the organisation’s Health & Safety strategy and ISO 45001 framework
* Influence senior stakeholders and operational leaders across multiple disciplines
* Drive behavioural safety, learning from incidents, and continuous improvement
* Act as a visible, credible safety leader internally and externally
About you:
* Senior-level Health & Safety leadership experience in complex, high-risk environments
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and strong working knowledge of UK legislation
* Confident communicator, able to engage frontline teams through to Board level
* Pragmatic, values-led and comfortable leading cultural change
