Job Title: Recycling Operative with FLT
Location: Chichester
Pay Rates: £13.96 per hour
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 2pm to 10.30pm, with 30 min lunch break.
Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Recycling Operative with FLT for our client specialising in recycling Waste streams for individual clients. This is a temporary ongoing position… with the potential to join the company following a successful probation period.

Key Responsibilities
· Daily pre use inspections to be carried out on all machinery and vehicles.
· Exchanging bins around site when full/as required
· Full bins to be returned to the waste compound, sorted, and processed.
· Operate safely ensuring our H&S policies / procedures, risk assessments, and safe systems are always adhered to.
· Always maintain a high standard and well organised waste compound.
· Communication, daily with the customer, contract manager, and line manager.
· Regular checks on waste levels of containers around site booking exchanges as required.
· Ensure all waste streams are segregated and stored correctly after processing in accordance with site and health & safety policies, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and any relevant policies and procedures.
· Undertake training provided to assist you in your role.
· Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employee.
· Provide solutions, continuous improvements, and innovations.
· All near misses, incidents, and accidents are to be reported via our incident reporting app.
Essential Experience
· FLT licence and towing experience is beneficial
· Some experience or knowledge on waste management processes is beneficial
· This role is very hands on, you will be supporting the customers with waste segregation.
