Our client, a leader in the civil engineering sector, is currently seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to join their team working on high-volume, lower-value projects at Manchester Airport.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the delivery of high-volume, lower-value works typically up to £3-4m
* Administering NEC contracts from start to finish
* Drafting, managing, and running tenders
* Managing contract processes end-to-end
* Working within a complex stakeholder environment
* Maintaining accurate records and preparing reports
* Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
* Liaising with clients and subcontractors as necessary
Job Requirements
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
* Experience in quantity surveying, particularly within the context of high-volume, lower-value projects
* Hands‑on experience with NEC contract administration
* Proficiency in drafting and managing tenders
* Ability to manage end-to-end contract processes
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
* Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Airport/aviation experience desirable
