Job Description
3. Prepare statutory accounts, tax returns, VAT returns, and business plans for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies/LLP's.
4. Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate service delivery.
5. Nurturing client relationships and offering tax and accounting advice supported by the Client Manager.
6. Mentoring and supporting junior team members.
7. Assist in implementing cloud-based software for clients and providing financial health checks for clients.
8. Assisting on ad hoc projects.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
9. A professional qualification (ACA, AAT, ACCA etc.) in Accounting or a related field.
10. Proven experience within a similar role in the accountancy sector.
11. Strong knowledge of accounting and financial procedures.
12. Excellent team leadership skills and a collaborative approach to work.
13. Exceptional client management skills with a keen eye for new business opportunities.
14. Experience of implementing and maintaining financial systems and procedures.
