About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team hybrid. The successful candidate will play a key role in cost estimation, contract management, and financial control for various M&E projects. Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents for M&E projects.
* Conduct detailed quantity take-offs and measurements from drawings and specifications.
* Manage procurement processes, including subcontractor and supplier negotiations.
* Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations to ensure cost control.
* Provide commercial advice to project teams and senior management.
* Evaluate and manage claims, change orders, and final accounts.
* Prepare and submit progress reports and financial statements.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations and contractual requirements.
Requirements
* Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in M&E quantity surveying.
* Strong knowledge of cost estimation, procurement, and contract administration in the M&E sector.
* Proficiency in relevant QS software (e.g., CostX, Bluebeam, or similar).
* Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects remotely.
* Familiarity with standard contracts (e.g., NEC, JCT, FIDIC) is a plus.
