A successful family-owned building company that specialises in insurance repairs is looking for a Contracts Manager to join its established team due to new long-term contracts. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a busy office in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for the supervision of multiple insurance claims, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to policyholders satisfaction. As Contracts Manager, your responsibilities will include: Overseeing the management of multiple insurance claims from start to completion Managing in-house tradesmen and subcontractors Programming, sequencing, and sourcing materials to effect successful repairs Controlling labour, subcontractors, and material costs Conducting site visits for meetings with policyholders and tradesmen Office based planning and communications. We are looking for a Contracts Manager who has the following skills and experience: Demonstrable proven track record in a similar role with a strong background in building trades. Experience of insurance re-instatement would be a great advantage, however not essential and they provide an onboarding process and suitable training. Excellent communication skills within the team environment Experience in a similar customer facing role within the building trade is advantageous Experience running a team of trades people would be an advantage. H&S knowledge The role would be a perfect opportunity for a tradesperson to move from on the tools to in the office environment. In return, you will receive a company van, and a salary of up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience (hourly paid based on 42.50-hour standard week 07:00-16:00, Monday-Friday (hours negotiable)).
