A welcoming and inclusive school in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their supportive team.
This unique setting caters to both primary and secondary aged pupils, and the school will work with you to ensure the right class placement based on your skills and experience.
* Full time position Monday to Friday, though the school can accommodate four days per week for the right candidate
* Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASC, ADHD and SEMH
* Engage pupils in a rich and varied curriculum, with a strong focus on sensory learning, outdoor learning and life skills
* Work closely with an inclusive staff team who pride themselves on the support and training they provide
* Prior experience working with children with ASC, ADHD and SEMH is essential
* A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach
* Commitment to helping children thrive in both their academic and personal development
* A probationary period through Teaching Personnel, followed by the opportunity to join the school’s contract directly

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
