Duties and Responsibilities
As an Experienced Social Worker, the core duties will include:
* Undertaking comprehensive assessments of children, young people, and families in line with statutory responsibilities and relevant legislation.
* Conducting care planning, care management, and review of cases to ensure service efficacy and compliance with departmental and national standards.
* Providing emotional and practical support to clients, developing trusting relationships, and advocating on their behalf.
* Collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies (such as health, police, and education professionals) to coordinate holistic care.
* Responding to crisis situations, ensuring clients are kept safe, and taking necessary action to protect them when danger is identified.
* Maintaining accurate and appropriate records for all work undertaken, preparing high-quality reports, case summaries, and correspondence.
* Participating in professional development activities, including training, and contributing to practice meetings.
Candidates must be a Qualified Social Worker (possessing a Social Work Degree/Diploma or equivalent) and must be registered with Social Work England & Eligible to Work in the UK.
