We arelooking for experienced Commercial Managerto overall responsibility management andadministration of the life cycle of all subcontractors used acrossthe business. Including overseeing and managing the onboardinginlife and offboardingprocesses.
Playing an active role insupporting internal stakeholders to build a portfolio of qualitydriven and competent subcontractors used to meet the flexibleresource demands of operations.
Working closely with keyinternal support functions to ensure compliance and adherence tohealth safety and quality obligations both from the Company andClientperspective.

As aCommercial Manager your core responsibilities will be
* Undertakecontractor screening checks as part of the onboarding processincluding background checks on risk and safety history.
* Assessingpotential contractors to determine suitability forprojects.
* Managingrelationships with the subcontractors alongside internaloperational leads to maintain strong partnerships and encouragepositiveperformance.
* Undertakeannual reviews with each subcontractor and undertake asubcontractor evaluation process including measuring performanceagainst any agreed core objectives and targets and reviewinginternal and client audits carriedout.
* Overseethe system and data management of subcontractor terms includingcontracts andrates.
* Workclosely with the Systems team to ensure access to authorised appsor systems is in place and necessary controls for data managementare being adheredto.
* Mainpoint of contact to manage subcontractor queries andconcerns.
* Ensuring relevant processesand procedures are in place to handling subcontractor disputes andpotential breach of contract terms.
* Supportingoperational leads with issues wherenecessary.
* Identifyrisks and manage accordingly with internal operationalleads.
SkillsandQualifications
* Professionalqualification i.e. degree in business engineering constructionmanagement or relatedfield
* Solidexperience in a progressively responsible positions within theindustry with at least 3 years experience in a subcontractmanagementrole
* Proventrack record of successful projectdelivery
* Strongnegotiation skills and ability to resolveconflict
* Excellentwritten and verbal communicationskills
* Thoroughunderstanding ofcontracts
