What You'll Be Doing:
As a Senior Systems Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our innovative projects. Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing and Building: Create prototypes, products, and systems for testing, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
* Validation and Verification: Conduct thorough system and sub-system checks, supporting design reviews.
* Specification and Selection: Define and choose components/interfaces that meet project needs.
* Control Systems Engineering: Apply best practices to ensure safety, reliability, and performance.
* Tailoring Practices: Adapt Systems Engineering methodologies to fit specific project requirements.
* Problem Solving: Address defects and issues promptly, providing effective corrective actions.
Your Skills and Experiences:
Essential Qualifications:
* A degree, HND/HNC, or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline.
* Strong understanding of Systems Engineering and the Engineering Lifecycle.
* Experience collaborating with stakeholders beyond your immediate team, both nationally and internationally.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Experience with complex computing solutions, including systems management, avionics, and safety/cyber security.
* Familiarity with Object-Oriented design and Model-Based engineering tools.
* Understanding of engineering and business processes, with the ability to support performance reporting.

The Integrated Onboard Computing Team:
As part of the Mission Systems Delivery Team (MSDT), you will contribute to the design and delivery of the Mission System for the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP). Our agile work planning process ensures that we develop innovative and robust mission system concepts and architectures.
In this role, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure that our mission system designs meet all technical, operational, and security requirements.
