New: Medical Writer (Remote UK/Hybrid possible) Innovative growing healthcare consulting firm

The role would suit a medical writer who enjoys ‘hands-on’ writing, working in a collaborative, close-knit team. You will have an established leadership team to support your growth and development and no pressure to be involved in sales/BD. The role provides good visibility in a mid-sized company and the chance to work on global projects.
Much of the company's work is repeat business and organic growth—HEOR publications/manuscripts being a key deliverable. This new hire will contribute to these efforts.
Role scope:
* Draft, revise, and finalize scientific materials, including abstracts for scientific conferences, scientific posters, slide decks for podium presentations, tables, figures, and data visualizations.
* Demonstrate an ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
* Correctly evaluate and interpret source documents and develop appropriate tables and figures.
* Provide copy editing, proofreading, and quality control reviews for other writers and researchers.
* Collaborate with internal researchers and client teams to ensure scientific accuracy using protocols, study reports, results tables, and other source documents to develop outlines and draft documents.
* Remotely participate in client-facing project meetings as needed.
* Methodically incorporate author and reviewer comments to improve the accuracy and clarity of the documents.
* Address, revise, and clarify conflicting and/or ambiguous comments from authors and reviewers.
* Perform relevant online searches of the clinical literature and summarize the findings.
* Coordinate and complete journal/abstract submissions that adhere to submission guidelines and client templates.
* Contribute to internal thought leadership projects.
Qualifications:
* MSc or other advanced degree in a life science, public health, or health economics-related field.
* 2+ years of experience in a technical writing role as a professional or student.
* Strong attention to detail, clarity, and scientific accuracy.
* Effective interpersonal/verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
* Proven experience writing for the pharmaceutical industry, public health, RWE, epidemiology, and/or HEOR is strongly preferred.
