Start Your Journey in Education – Trainee Learning Support Assistant (Secondary Schools)
Location: Cardiff
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term-Time Only)
Pay: £90 – £100 per day
Start Date: September 1st
The Role
As a Trainee Learning Support Assistant, you’ll make a real difference by supporting secondary school pupils (aged 11–18), including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) such as:
* Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
* ADHD
* Dyslexia
* Social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties
Your role will involve:
* Providing one-to-one and small group support
* Assisting students in lessons across a variety of subjects
* Encouraging inclusion and promoting positive behaviour

* A genuine interest in supporting young people
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A proactive, positive approach to learning and development
* Willingness to complete essential training (fully funded)
* Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check (support provided)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
