Overview
This role is a Food and Beverage Assistant at Avery Healthcare in Barnet. You will support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. The role requires flexibility to work 8-hour shifts across 7 days a week. Salary: £12.25 per hour.
Main duties
* Support residents with choosing meal options when dining.
* Ensure dining tables are set to standard operating procedures.
* Keep the front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented, and remove dirty crockery throughout the day.
* Replenish fresh homemade cakes/biscuits and provide finger foods and fresh fruit options.
* Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements.

About the role
Your focus as a Food and Beverage Team Member is to support the dining service and assist residents with their meals. Other responsibilities include:
* Support residents with choosing meal options when dining.
* Ensure that the standard operating procedures for dining tables are followed.
* Keep the front of house clean, tidy, and well-presented, and ensure dirty crockery is removed and replenished throughout the day.
* Ensure fresh homemade cakes/biscuits are accessible in the bistro areas and replenished throughout the day, as well as finger foods and fresh fruit options.
* Be aware of residents’ dietary requirements.
About you

* High standards of personal hygiene.
* Experience in a similar setting, restaurant, or hotel would be desirable.
* A basic Food Hygiene Certificate would be beneficial.
