What the role involves
* Assisting nursery staff in caring for and supervising children aged 0–5
* Supporting daily routines such as feeding, changing, and toilet training
* Engaging children through fun and educational activities
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and nursery teams
* Working across multiple locations based on staffing needs
What we’re looking for
* Level 2 or 3 Early Years Qualification is desirable, but not essential
* Experience with young children in a nursery or early years setting is desirable but not essential
* Genuine passion for supporting children’s development and well-being
* Flexibility and adaptability to work in different locations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work as part of a team
Important safeguarding information
Because this role involves regulated activity with children, all candidates must:
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service. If you don’t yet have one, you’ll need to cover the cost
* Be eligible to work in regulated roles – not on the Children’s Barred List
* Successfully complete background and reference checks
