This role involves seeing complex respiratory patients in a range of settings including various community sites and patients' homes, as well as community clinics. The post holder will autonomously manage their own caseload of patients, performing capillary blood gases, fire risk assessments, and supporting/covering other clinicians within the team.
Structured clinical supervision is provided by one of the local Respiratory Consultants, with support from team meetings, shared learning and reflective practice. The team lead will hold regular 1:1 meetings to support your role.
Responsibilities
 * Provide clinical support for patients within the Home Oxygen Service (HO-SAR).
 * Perform capillary blood gas analyses and fire risk assessments.
 * Manage a caseload of patients independently.
 * Support and cover for other clinicians within the team.
 * Participate in structured clinical supervision and team meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
We are seeking a motivated, caring and dynamic Senior Support worker with excellent communication skills (written and verbal), good time management, basic IT proficiency, and a willingness to learn new skills. Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
