Painter Required - Social Housing
Location: Preston
Contract Type: Temporary - March 2026
Salary: £20phr
Start Date: Immediate
We're looking for a reliable and skilled Painter/Decorator to join our team working on a social housing maintenance contract. You'll be responsible for carrying out high-quality painting and decorating works in occupied (tenanted) properties, ensuring tenants receive a professional, respectful, and efficient service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works in tenanted homes.
2. Prepare surfaces, including filling, sanding, and priming as required.
3. Work efficiently while maintaining clean and safe working areas.
4. Communicate politely and effectively with tenants and colleagues.
5. Follow company health & safety procedures at all times.
6. Complete daily job records and report any additional works required.
Requirements
7. Proven experience as a Painter/Decorator, ideally within social housing or property maintenance.
8. Full UK driving licence (company van and fuel card provided).
9. CSCS card
10. NVQ Level 2 or above in Painting & Decorating
