Ideally you will have Franchise experience; however, manufacturer training will be on-going for the successful candidate. We are looking for individuals who possess the following competencies: As a Parts Advisor you will be an integral member of the aftersales team. You will hrlp in the day to day running of the parts department. The Role: Through excellent customer service you will promote and affect sales of stock, at retail, trade and workshop counters both over the phone and face to face. Your Main Duties Ensures that all customers at retail, trade and workshop areas are dealt with quickly and efficiently and that all orders are processed on the same day Completes all administrative functions in an accurate and timely manner Achieves sales by prospecting, acquiring and maintaining accounts and actively promoting Parts and associated promotions to potential customers Answers customers questions regarding technical problems, warranties and repairs in a manner that is easily understood and avoids excessive use of technical jargon Communicates and logs any discrepancies of stock with the Parts Manager Actively supports company policy and best practice in the area of security, with particular emphasis on the protection of sensitive customer information What were looking for: Previous experience as a Parts Advisor is required Exceptional verbal and written skills and excels in both telesales and customer facing roles Prior experience of using parts catalogues and understanding stock control is essential Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping CDK experience would be advantageous Collaborates with colleagues to support the achievement of increased profit and sales Committed to achieving excellent customer relations and ensuring that customers expectations are met if not exceeded Positive friendly and professional manner, demonstrates integrity, discretion and objectivity Computer literate, including Microsoft Office A good technical understanding of motor vehicles We are looking for a very talented, Parts Advisor to join our Service Team. Ideally you will have an enviable and proven track record as a Parts Advisor, preferablywith Motor Industry experience and ideally you will have knowledge of Kerridge. Parts Volume: To actively achieve agreed parts sales volume targets and maximise incremental sales opportunities. To maximise profit through volume. Parts Profit: To actively achieve agreed parts profit targets and optimises all sales opportunities. To maximise profit through margin. Customer Relationship: To pro-actively maintain and develop good relationships with internal and external customers by ensuring their expectations are met and that all parts are fit for purpose. Ordering: To ensures the accurate and timely ordering of parts for stock and for internal/external customers. Parts & Stock Management: To efficiently retrieve parts and monitor stock levels to ensure the ordering function meets customer demands while maintaining low costs. Standards: To maintain the highest possible standards in the parts reception area and in your personal appearance. Data and Document Handling: To accurately manage and input customer and parts data into the Kerridge system and ensure accurate completion of all parts documentation.
