One of our professional sports clients is looking for interim support from a Commercial Lawyer over the next 3 to 6 months.
The role requires strong drafting and negotiation skills and commercial awareness of the sports industry.
What the role will involve:
1. Advising on and negotiating general commercial contracts tailored to the unique needs of a football club.
2. Managing sponsorship and partnership agreements to maximise commercial opportunities.
3. Drafting consultancy contracts that support the club’s operations. It may also involve.
4. Some property-related work, such as leases or facility use agreements, ensuring compliance and protecting the club’s interests.
5. Sponsorship agreements are for things like the advertising on LEDs around the stadium, or for the club’s football shirts.
6. In addition, some data protection matters such as dealing with subject access requests and updating policies.
This assignment is part time, 3 to 4 days a week, working on a hybrid basis.
