* Starting salary: £35,292 per annum, with potential progression to £39,899. Includes excellent pension and benefits.

The role
We are seeking a dedicated Data Analyst to join our Corporate Data and Analytics Team. Responsibilities include specifying data capture, validation, maintaining data quality, performing statistical analysis, data modelling, performance measurement, and reporting. You will generate business intelligence and insights, develop Power BI reports, and manage reporting systems. A key aspect of this role is to bring innovative thinking to HIE’s work, supporting the organisation's development and measuring performance against strategic goals.
The person
The ideal candidate will have strong statistical and analytical skills, with proficiency in data visualization. Skills in Power BI report development, MS Office, CRM systems, and data warehousing are essential. Experience with Python, R, or SQL is desirable. The candidate should work well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible. A commitment to professional development and willingness to travel within and beyond HIE are also important.
