Position: Insolvency Solicitor Location: Bristol The Firm: A leading national commercial law firm offering high-quality restructuring and insolvency opportunity. The team advises insolvency practitioners, financial institutions, company directors and corporates on a full spectrum of insolvency and restructuring matters. The successful candidate will handle a mix of corporate and personal insolvency instructions across contentious and non-contentious matters. Key Responsibilities: Acting on administrations, liquidations, receiverships and bankruptcy matters. Advising on contentious insolvency including misfeasance claims, TUV, preferences and director liability actions. Drafting and negotiating documentation for insolvency appointments, restructuring proposals and enforcement. Conducting security reviews and advising lenders on enforcement strategies. Managing relationships with insolvency practitioners, lenders and directors. Supporting business development and contributing to team growth. Mentoring junior fee earners as required. Candidate Requirements: Experience in corporate and/or personal insolvency Strong technical understanding of the Insolvency Act, Insolvency Rules and Companies Act. Confident handling both contentious and advisory matters. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills. Able to manage a busy caseload and work independently. Desirable Skills Exposure to lender advisory, LPA receivership or complex insolvency litigation. Network within the insolvency and restructuring community.
