Position Overview
A growing provider of Managed Print and IT Services is seeking a dynamic Head of IT to lead internal IT operations and deliver high-quality support to a diverse client base. Known for helping businesses work more efficiently and sustainably, the company combines practical technology solutions with a focus on service excellence.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment, can lead and develop teams, and is confident managing complex IT infrastructure and customer-facing projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the IT and Professional Services Help Desk team, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
* Oversee the planning and delivery of IT and print-related projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
* Maintain and develop IT infrastructure and systems, ensuring security, scalability, and operational efficiency.
* Support pre-sales activity by joining client meetings and providing technical guidance where required.
* Monitor service desk performance against KPIs and SLAs, identifying opportunities for improvement.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards.
* Manage third-party vendor relationships to ensure value and alignment with business needs.
* Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership, highlighting key performance indicators, challenges, and improvement opportunities.
* Stay up to date with relevant technology trends and evaluate their potential value to the business.
About You
* Experience in a senior IT management role, ideally in a service-led or customer-focused business.
* Strong leadership and people management skills, with a track record of building high-performing teams.
* Solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and security.
* Confident communicator, able to engage with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience in project management and delivering IT transformation initiatives.
* Knowledge of managed services and/or UCaaS platforms would be advantageous.
