GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Rotherham (S60). This role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching and tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
As an SEN Teacher, you will:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons tailored to pupils with special educational needs.
* Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions.
* Support pupils’ academic progress and personal development in line with curriculum requirements.
* Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies as needed.
* Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment.
* Work closely with colleagues, SENCOs, and parents to ensure holistic support for pupils.
Requirements for SEN Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven experience teaching pupils with SEN in a primary or secondary setting.
* Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, strategies, and differentiation techniques.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
