White Horse is working exclusively with a professional services and technology solutions business to recruit a senior Head of Sales & Marketing. This is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving commercial growth, leading both Sales and Marketing functions, and ensuring the delivery of revenue and brand objectives.
The Role
The Head of Sales & Marketing will define and execute the company’s commercial strategy, ensuring cohesive go-to-market activity, strong demand generation, compelling value propositions, and achievement of revenue targets.
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will oversee day-to-day operations across Sales and Marketing, lead and develop teams, embed best practices, and work closely with the CEO and other business leaders to accelerate growth.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Leadership
* Lead the Sales & Marketing strategy to achieve business growth targets
* Develop compelling value propositions, campaigns and go-to-market plans
* Own Sales & Marketing KPIs, ratios and reporting
* Drive continuous improvement, governance and best practice across both functions
* Represent the department at Senior Management level
Sales Leadership
* Set and deliver revenue targets
* Lead account management, new business development, bid management and contract management
* Prioritise and resource sales pipeline activity
* Provide forecasting and commercial insight
* Maintain contractual oversight
Marketing Leadership
* Lead all marketing activity, including digital, brand, campaigns, content and events
* Conduct market analysis and competitor research
* Drive integrated lead generation activity
* Own brand strategy and marketing operations
* Lead internal communications and social value initiatives
Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure alignment across all business functions
* Ensure strong communication and collaboration across the company
People Leadership
* Lead, develop and motivate Sales and Marketing teams
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management and capability development
* Foster a high-performance, results-driven culture
About You
You will be a commercially focused leader with significant experience operating at a senior level across Sales and Marketing.

* Extensive experience in senior Sales and Marketing roles
* Strong leadership, communication and commercial skills
* Experience in consultative sales, digital marketing and proposition development
* Strategic mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* High levels of professionalism, confidentiality and organisation
* Excellent communication skills with clients and stakeholders
* Strong understanding of technology as a solution to business problems
* Proven results-driven approach

Location & Travel
This role can be based in the Isle of Man or the UK or it can be Fully Remote with visits to the Isle of Man when required. Occasional travel to other offices, industry events, and client sites will be required, sometimes involving overnight stays.
