About DSLSA
Delhi State Legal Services Authority was constituted under the Provision of Legal Services Authorities Act, 1987. This Authority provides free Legal Aid to the weaker section of the society and has the responsibility to spread Legal Awareness by holding various activities in Schools, Police Stations, Residential Societies and other appropriate forums.
About the Opportunity
Delhi State Legal Services Authority (DSLSA) is offering an opportunity to law students to witness and experience the working of this Authority which is working tirelessly towards achieving “Access to Justice for all” through “Sewa Samadhan Samarpan”. DSLSA invites online applications for Winter Internship Program–2025-26 from law students of various Law Universities/Colleges of India. DSLSA invites motivated law students who take the initiative and have the zeal to work for the marginalized sections of society to join hands with them. It welcomes socially active students and have a positive attitude and empathy to work for different sections of society.
Eligibility Criteria
* Law students either of Five years or Three years degree course are eligible to apply for this program.
* Efficiency in written Communication (English), Legal writing, Basic legal knowledge, Computer Operation in Word/Excel/PPT.

Programme Details
While interning with this Authority, the students may have an opportunity to visit the authorities/places mentioned below:
* District Courts (Civil & Criminal side); Family Courts; Special Courts dealing with cases under Section 138 N.I.Act; Mediation Centre; Labour Courts & Tribunals including Armed Forces Tribunal, Debt Recovery Tribunal, MCD Appellate Tribunal, Consumer Forums etc.
* Door to Door Campaign in Districts; Legal Services Clinics.
* Observation Homes for Juveniles; Juvenile Justice Boards; Children Homes & Child Welfare Committees.
* Tihar or Rohini Jails; Police Stations/Forensic Science Laboratory.
* National Commission for Protection of Child Rights Mental Health Institution (IHBAS); One Stop Centers; Shelter Homes in Districts; District Magistrate Offices; District Labour Offices.
Certification
* Internship Certificate shall be awarded after successful completion of the Internship.
* 3 Excellence Certificates would also be awarded to the chosen candidates who will complete their internship with sincerity and devotion and bring new innovative ideas.
* Minimum 75% attendance is must for getting the Internship Certificate.
Important Dates
* Last date for application submission: December 15th, 2025.
* Shortlisted candidates will be informed: December 20th, 2025.
* Confirmation deadline: December 22th, 2024.
* Internship period: 09th to 29th January, 2026.
