Role outline:
Welding and fabrication within a workshop environment.
Responsibilities:
* High standard of welding of pipework, support structures and associated parts
* Complete works as directed by site supervisors and managers.
* Carrying out a variety of fabrication works, assembly of mechanical equipment, and fixtures.
Requirements:
* Working knowledge pipework, platforms and fabrication using steel.
* Good communication skills.
* Hard working and conscientious.
* Knowledge/experience using various fabrication techniques.
* Ability to work on own initiative, be self-motivated and work part of a team.
* Ability to cut and prepare materials before welding and read manufacturing drawings.
* Experience of TIG/MIG/MMA welding desirable.
* Ability to understand and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
