Location: Witney, Oxfordshire Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 6:00am–4:30pm, Friday midday finish Pay Rate: £14.30 per hour Overtime: Paid at £21.45 per hour for hours worked over 40 per week Contract Type: Temp to perm position
About the Role: As a Forklift Truck Driver, you'll be a key member of our manufacturing team, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within our factory and yard. Reporting to the Logistics Coordinator, you'll help organise and carry out material movements, maintain accurate dispatch records, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
We use Combi-lift trucks, but if you're currently licensed on counterbalance or another type, don't worry—we'll provide in-house training and cover the cost of your conversion. If you already hold a Combi licence, you'll be assessed on-site.
? Your Responsibilities:
Operate FLTs to move materials safely and efficiently
Organise and manage loading and dispatch information
Maintain accurate stock records using basic computer systems
Report any health and safety or equipment concerns promptly
Support improvements in logistics and production processes
What You'll Need:
A current Forklift Truck Licence (Combi-lift preferred, but conversion training available)
Ability to organise and manage loading information
Basic computer skills; experience with stock control systems is a plus
A proactive, solution-focused attitude and ability to work independently and in a team
