An opportunity for an established Contentious Construction Partner (ideally with a following) to join and help to lead our highly successful team.
As a Partner in our well-regarded Construction team, we will support and encourage you to get involved in business development activities and become embedded into your client sectors, as well as nurturing and extending existing client relationships. This role will focus your technical and client management skills with access to challenging and varied work, working alongside highly respected leading practitioners.
Our is described as having ‘a comprehensive understanding of the industry coupled with strong commercial awareness to providing focussed, proactive legal advice’ by Chambers UK. The national construction team is led by with leading the contentious side of the practice. Being based in Bristol, you will work closely with not only the members of our Bristol construction team, but also with our construction teams in other offices.

This role is right for you if:
You are someone with talent, ambition and a proven track record and expertise in Contentious Construction work.
With at least 8 years of post-qualification experience, you will have established strong client relationships within the South West and, very probably, a degree of following. You will have developed strong business development skills and have a vision about how to grow your practice. We will however consider applicants with less qualification experience but who can demonstrate the qualities we are looking for.
You will need to be technically excellent but equally, commercially aware. You will need to be a team player with a client focussed approach and a keenness to become involved in business development activities within the team as a whole, having built up strong professional connections.
