Production / FLT Operative
Location: Huddersfield
Duration: Temporary - Permanent
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 4:30pm, Friday 8am - 3:30pm (30 mins for lunch and 2 x 10mins breaks during the day)
Pay: £12.71
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established family business that creates bespoke educational products and soft furnishings. This hands-on Production / Packer role offers varied, interesting work and full training support. Key duties:
* Involved in all aspects of production;
* Preparing materials
* Cutting material
* Operating printing machines
* Packing
* Occasional Reach FLT driving (10% of role)
* Working as a team as well as some unsupervised
* Full training to be given
Essential competencies:
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills
* Excellent communication and telephone manner
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Any experience with Adobe Illustrator / Photoshop, Roland Printers / laminators is advantageous but not essential for the role.
