About the role
We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our senior nursing team for Critical Care at BHRUT. This is an opportunity to help shape the direction of one of the largest ITU facilities in North East London, working across Queen's Hospital and King George sites, including a specialist Neuro Intensive Care Unit and the Critical Care Outreach Service.
The role is a mixture of clinical and managerial responsibilities with a strong focus on delivering first‑class care that is safe and of high quality. It incorporates both day‑to‑day delivery of services and strategic delivery of a sustainable and efficient service, whilst fostering a safe working environment where nursing teams can grow and flourish.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver safe, efficient and effective patient care.
* Provide professional leadership to all nursing staff and manage line‑managed teams.
* Meet key quality and performance indicators and take forward service improvements.
* Meet financial plans and support service finance.
* Lead and develop Critical Care across both sites, coordinating bed and staffing and working with stakeholders to deliver national and local standards.
* Rotate across units annually to promote cohesive and collaborative working.
