Deputy Manager

We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join our friendly Service in the Denbigh area.

We are currently seeking a passionate, focused and committed nurse to support the delivery of a high-quality service. If you can lead, motivate, and inspire others, then you may be the person we are looking for.

What you’ll be doing:

8. The people we support are adults who have enduring mental health needs with co-occurring physical health needs.
9. You will take responsibility for the running of the home in the absence of the service manager and support the service manager to produce and maintain systems and procedures for auditing and assuring the quality of care provided by the home.
10. Be part of an on-call system.
11. A high standard of commitment to person-centred care planning and risk assessment.
12. Knowledge of RISCA regulations and ensuring the service adheres to these.
13. This role requires you to assist with the daily management of the home, including ensuring the clinical needs of the People we Support are met.
14. Be responsible for care planning, monitoring, and reviewing arrangements.
15. Monitoring the administration of medication. Responsibility for maintaining the necessary records and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the systems for administering medicines.
16. Help to maintain the standards set for the appearance and upkeep of the premises, indoors and outdoors.
17. Participate in staff meetings, staff supervision, training, and development activities.
18. Assist the Service Manager with the management of the staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement with recruitment and selection.
19. Assist the Service Manager to ensure that all operational policies and procedures are in place and followed by all staff.

Who you are:

20. Able to work independently, multitask, organise, and prioritise work to suit the people we support and the service.
21. Exceptional at building relationships and influencing at all levels, internal and external.
22. Ability to execute and deliver high-quality care, whilst keeping a positive attitude under pressure.
23. Quick learner, hands-on, willing to be flexible in tasks and activities.
24. Experience of working in mental health settings, essential - ideally nursing services.
25. Ability to take part in an on-call rota.
26. QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care
