To contribute to the delivery of patients individual care needs under the direction and supervision of a registered practitioner. To work flexibly as part of a team, undertaking observations, phlebotomy, taking ECG's and MRSA swabbing.
Main duties of the job
* Provide patient care as directed by a registered practitioner and in accordance with the patients requirements.
* Participate in the taking and recording patient observations, escalating abnormal parameters to a registered practitioner.
* Participate in phlebotomy - taking bloods and dispatching samples to pathology.
* Taking ECGs and uploading them to the patients Cerner record, and escalating abnormalities to a registered practitioner.
* Participate in obtaining MRSA swabs - taking the swabs and dispatching them to pathology.
* Arranging of blood clinic.

To Practice in accordance with the Trusts standards and statutory requirements.
