Your Role...
Reporting to the Commercial Director for your discipline, the Commercial Lead will support the Project Director on major projects and, together with the Operations Director, lead the commercial function within your Energy discipline to minimize risk and maximize financial returns.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery / Working Capital Management
* Review Framework call-offs and task opportunities.
* Contribute to risk and opportunity registers, focusing on fee claims, working capital, and disputes.
* Ensure contract and project reviews follow company policies.
* Support legal processes for claims and disputes.
Work Winning
* Lead in shaping major bids and pursuits, collaborating with the bid team.
* Review tenders, develop pricing strategies, and assist in negotiations.
Professional Indemnity Management
* Manage potential claims following company policies.
* Work with Legal to resolve claims proactively.
Client Facing Support
* Support change management, risk mitigation, and contractual notices.
* Maintain registers, review client communications, and support dispute resolution.
Continual Improvement
Contribute to decision-making, process improvements, and fostering a positive commercial culture.
