The Deputy Headteacher within our school has identified since their return from the Easter holidays that the school now require a supply teacher who is able to provide general cover across the school campus, delivering pre planned lessons to the full subject range.
With an increase in cover requirements thus far, our client school wish to alleviate pressures from the classroom teachers whilst offering students the regularity of a member of staff who is able to provide cover when required.
This is a full-time position that the school wish to appoint for as a matter of urgency and the school are looking to meet with interested candidates in the coming weeks.
To be considered for this role you must be a flexible and experienced teacher who is confident delivering pre-planned lessons to pupils at GCSE level. It is crucial that you have good classroom management skills and are able to build solid relationships with the students and classes that you will be working with.
This secondary school is located in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan. In their most recent Ofsted report they achieved an overall grade of ‘Good’ and are consistently improving. The school is located on the outskirts of Wigan, bordering Warrington which makes for easy access from surrounding areas; St Helens, Salford, Leigh and Chorley.
