Job Description
3. Support the reconciliation of bank accounts and other financial records.
4. Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records.
5. Prepare and process invoices, ensuring timely payments and collections.
6. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis tasks.
7. Support the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory filings.
8. Collaborate with the wider Accounting & Finance team to meet deadlines and objectives.
9. Provide general administrative support for the finance department as needed.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
10. A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
11. Experience within the professional services industry or a related sector.
12. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
13. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
14. The ability to work effectively in a team environment.
15. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
16. Experience or exposure to Netsuite.
17. Ability to speak fluent Spanish.
