Key Responsibilities
* Deliver our ‘learning through play’ educational ethos and curriculum.
* Implement the daily routine sensitively while ensuring smooth transitions for sleep, mealtimes, and outings.
* Plan and facilitate innovative learning experiences that engage and challenge children’s development.
* Take quality observations, make assessments, and develop plans for the children in your care.
* Supervise mealtimes and adhere to all policies to keep children safe.
* Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the day.
* Adhere to all nursery policies, procedures, and the health & safety policy.
* Act as the key person (and backup key person) for a family group, building strong relationships with children and their families, and providing tailored communication.
* Promote and model safeguarding procedures and child welfare.
* Embed and apply the behaviour policy and all relevant procedures and practices.
* Lead and collaborate with the dedicated team of practitioners to foster an excellent learning environment.
* Model high standards, seek and embrace feedback, and drive educational excellence.
Qualifications
Hold a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 3 or above).
