About The Role:
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off rolling rota. Including working weekends and night shifts.
As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities
* Recording of vehicles, visitors and contractors as well as all site activities maintaining accurate records and a site daily occurrence record
* Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems
* Responding to alerts and alarms as required
* Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client's premises in accordance with the assignment instructions
* To show a professional security presence throughout the site
* To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company's Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans
Qualifications
* You must have the right to work in the UK
* You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)
* Reliability and Punctuality
* Professional manner and appearance
* High levels of vigilance
* Confident use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and CCTV systems
* Full driving license is essential
