Temporary Accountant/Accounts Assistant
Location: Daventry, UKContract Type: Temporary 3 months minimum
100% office based
£15 - £22 per hour depending on experience - this may suit someone with more experience in order to "hit the ground running" and to offer additional support as the role develops
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Temporary Accountant to manage end-to-end accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and supplier payments. This is a hands-on role for an independent self-starter who can manage their workload efficiently and handle UK accounts as well as inter-company transactions
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable (AP) processes, including supplier payments.
* Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
* Handle inter-company accounts, particularly transactions with Germany Head Office
* Manage the payment run, ensuring timely and accurate supplier payments.
* Process import payments and ensure compliance with company policies.
* Maintain accurate financial documentation and liaise with internal and external stakeholders as needed.
Skills and Experience Required:
* Experience in SAP preferred
* Proven experience in Accounts Payable, bank reconciliations, and managing end-to-end AP processes.
* Experience handling inter-company accounts, ideally with other international entities.
* Ability to manage payment runs and import payments.
* Independent, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
* Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Prior experience in UK accounting processes is essential.
