Business Partner (Educational Partnership Unit)

The University of Wolverhampton is recruiting for three Business Partners within the Educational Partnership Unit (EPU).

The Business Partners will lead on the development of mutually beneficial, long‑term partnership relationships for the University and will be responsible for managing day‑to‑day relationships with educational partners. You will coordinate account‑management meetings, agendas and information, cross‑organisational collaboration and act as the primary point of contact for educational partners and internal stakeholders.

The Business Partners will liaise with teams across the University to ensure completion of business cases and costings for new partnership provision and the successful onboarding of partners.

Based in Wolverhampton, the Business Partners will be expected to work across all campus locations and may need to travel to UK and international partners.

About the Educational Partnerships Unit

The EPU is the central function responsible for strategic development, governance and operational oversight of the University’s collaborative provision, including UK partnerships and transnational education (TNE) arrangements. It ensures partnership activity is strategically aligned, approved and effectively managed within the University’s regulatory and governance framework.

The EPU provides end‑to‑end oversight of the partnership lifecycle, ensuring robust approval, due diligence, risk assessment and that delivery arrangements are appropriately controlled and monitored, operating in line with institutional policies, contract requirements and regulatory expectations.

The University retains full responsibility for the quality and standards of its awards, which are governed through established academic governance structures. The EPU supports this by ensuring partnership arrangements are structured, resourced and managed to deliver and assure those standards.
