As a Class Teacher, you will play a vital role in enhancing the learning experiences of our youngest pupils, who have a diverse range of special educational and learning needs.
Your Role
As a Class Teacher at Kirby Moor School, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the national curriculum while addressing the complex SEMH needs of all pupils.
* Support the class team in creating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviors.
* Monitor and report on pupils' progress, collaborating with staff to ensure every child's needs are met.
* Supervise pupils during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
* Build positive relationships with your pupils, fostering interaction and encouraging positive learning outcomes in a nurturing environment.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* A strong educational background, ideally to degree level.
* Previous successful teaching experience.
* Experience working with pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting.
* Skills in behavior management and techniques.
* A commitment to your professional development and a willingness to learn.
