Role Overview: As Finance Manager, you will be successfully managing a team of six Finance professionals and help to develop financial operations and high financial standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist with the preparation of annual budgets, long-term forecasts, capital projections and cash flows for the Foundation
2. Review of expenditure against budgets
3. Modelling and benchmarking of financial data in Excel to assist with the analysis of data and aid decision making
4. Assist with the preparation of the consolidated financial accounts, including working with the auditors
5. Treasury management and debt drawdown
6. Maintaining and development of existing financial software and reporting systems
7. Development of a Finance handbook
8. Regulatory assurance and internal audit, ensuring appropriate systems, procedures, processes and controls are in place
9. To assist with the completion of regulatory declarations to ensure regulatory compliance
10. Completion of statutory returns in a complex environment
11. Ensure the continuous smooth running of the department in periods of absence (e.g. annual leave)
Requirements:
12. Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
13. Experience managing a Finance team
14. Understanding of the production and monitoring budgets
15. Experience working within a financial management environment
16. Advanced Excel skills
17. Understanding internal financial reporting
Benefits:
18. Competitive salary up to £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
