We are currently working with an internationalmanufacturing business.
As a leading localbusiness, they are seeking an HR Advisor to join their team on theoutskirts of Maidstone on a full-time basis to cover maternity for12 months.
The HR Advisor will work closelywith the Senior HR Advisor and will have experience as an HRGeneralist, taking responsibility for case management, ad-hoc HRprojects and will help run the HR department day today.
Responsibilities willinclude:
Process all new starters includingthe production of employment contracts, induction packs, referencerequests, and Company handbooks.
Carrying outinductions.
Process leavers including the submission ofthe resignation acceptance letters and calculating leavers' finalpay instead of annual leave due.
Maintain absence recordsand return to work.
Process all paperwork associated withemployment changes and variations to contracts.
Createand maintain all employee personnel files, ensuring archiving ofleavers and cleansing of the information held in line with the DataProtection Act (GDPR).
Maintain employee benefitsadministration, such as quarterly life assurance datasubmissions.
Assist with any recruitment and ensure saferrecruitment practices are met.
Support the administrationof annual pay reviews, employee surveys, and HRstatistics.
Assist with projects, such as new HR systemrollout.
Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events,etc.
Coordinate training sessions.
Processdocumentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities(staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performanceevaluations, etc.)
Providing advice and assistance onpolicies, procedures, and legislation.
Coordinatecompliance for legal processes, such as disciplinary orgrievance.
Take minutes for informal and formal processmeetings/hearings.
Support in HR administration, whererequired.
The ideal candidate will be able todemonstrate a CIPD Level 3 or previous experience in an HR role,excellent communication skills, and good IT skills including Wordand Excel. Recruitment experience would be advantageous but notessential.
