Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Joiner to join our team, responsible for a variety of carpentry tasks in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and woodworking, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires hands-on experience with various tools and materials, as well as a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
* Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks, ensuring precision and attention to detail.
* Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for accurate project execution.
* Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction tasks.
* Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and rebar installation as needed.
* Execute fabrication tasks including cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation.
* Conduct restoration work such as water damage restoration, mold remediation, and general remodeling.
* Participate in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry projects.
* Collaborate with team members on construction site activities while adhering to safety protocols.
* Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials as required throughout the project lifecycle.
Skills
* Proficient in construction estimating and project planning.
* Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques including woodworking and metal stud framing.
* Familiarity with CNC machinery for fabrication tasks is a plus.
* Experience in the restoration industry is highly desirable.
* Ability to perform plumbing work, electrical tasks, and construction painting when necessary.
* Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
