We are seeking an experienced and motivated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) with expertise in children’s mental health to join our team. This role focuses on the assessment, diagnosis, and management of ADHD in children and young people. The post-holder will work remotely, providing a flexible and fully supported service, including access to professional supervision and continuing professional development (CPD).
Essential:
* Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or other eligible healthcare professional with current NMC.
* Non-Medical Prescribing qualification (V300).
* Specialist knowledge in paediatric ADHD assessment and management.
Job Responsibilities:
* Independently prescribe medications for ADHD within your scope of practice and in line with local and national guidelines.
* Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and adherence, adjusting treatment plans as appropriate.
* Provide evidence-based psychoeducation and support to children, families, and carers regarding ADHD and its management.
* Collaborate with schools, social care, and other professionals to ensure a holistic, child-centred approach.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in line with legal, professional, and organisational standards.
* Work within local and national clinical guidelines, including NICE guidance and safeguarding policies.
