Overview
KS3/4 SEN Teaching Assistant – FULL TIME, UNTIL JULY 2026 – STARTING IMMEDIATELY. Our client looks for an enthusiastic graduate to provide academic support, 1:1 mentoring and crisis intervention to support students who need intervention. There is extensive training available, and regular CPD for all staff. This role could be suitable for someone considering teacher training for September 2026. The standard of work is high, with a uniform approach and a calm, positive environment evident from day one. The school has a strong reputation in the SEMH domain and maintains high standards.
You will support young learners across a variety of secondary subjects, including Maths, English, Science, Humanities and PE. Given the nature of the students, this role is well-suited to graduates considering Primary or Secondary teacher training, as you will gain exposure to the full curriculum.

Experience, Training and Qualifications
* Recent Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher, OR experience as a TA in a similar setting
* Previous experience working in a UK school
* Up to date safeguarding training issued in the last year
To be Eligible for This Role
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child, barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
* Provide two professional child-related references
