We have an exciting opportunity for a Business (Data) Officer to join our team at One Recovery Buckinghamshire Service.
The successful candidate will gather activity data from all projects in the area and produce local monitoring reports as appropriate, reporting to service manager and Inclusion Senior managers any further information needs for the local data management systems in line with commissioner requirements.
You will devise and deliver a training program for new and existing staff members to ensure the team are fully trained and compliant with the internal data collection systems, assisting in problem solving where necessary.
Main duties of the job
As a Business Officer, you will:
* To develop compliance and performance data reports to assist managers to improve efficiency and outcomes
* To monitor the integrity of data to ensure that comprehensive reporting of NDTMS datasets occur on a monthly basis
* To participate in the writing and presentation format of literature and project reports as required
* Ensure good working relationships are established and maintained both internally and externally with service providers and commissioners and other interested parties
* To develop your own knowledge and practice, attend supervision and team meetings so as to fulfil your role as an effective member of the team
* To attend regular business / supervision meetings and to undertake any other reasonable duties as may be requested by the area manager
* To have an excellent understanding of the computer system used (Illy, Pharma outcomes) and run reports on a weekly basis

* To provide specialist advice, guidance and support to non‑technical staff in the interpretation and analysis of any performance related activity.
* Attend regional and national conferences and represent the Trust on working groups as appropriate.
* To enhance links between the Trust and other NHS organisations, on any information management related matters.
* To maintain and develop the reporting relationship with The Trust, Commissioners, NDTMS, NHS England, NHS Improvement and Care Quality Commission (CQC), to ensure that external guidance and targets are adhered to.
* Have a good knowledge of Payment by Results and Care Clustering and ensure that any changes to activity reporting are undertaken with an impact analysis on income and explicitly communicated to colleagues in Finance.
* To advise the appropriate manager of issues with data such as changes to trends or unusual levels of activity.
* Exposed to highly sensitive and complex information and will be expected to follow MPFT Information Governance policies at all times, particularly in relation to confidentiality and data security.
