And due to an increase in work are currently looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their team on a hybrid working basis.

The successful Senior Ecologist will be offered:
3. £30,000 - £40,000 Basic (depending on experience)

Senior Ecologist requirements:
12. First or second-class degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent
13. Full membership of CIEEM with 3 years post-experience
14. UK Driving license and access to own car
15. Good working knowledge of Office software packages
16. Detailed knowledge of UK species and habitat legislation
17. Botanical ID skills
18. Been involved in EPS mitigation licences and/or hold at least 1 survey licence
19. Experience in large, multi-disciplinary projects
20. Recognize lowland UK habitat types, and have in-depth knowledge of their ecology and management
As a Senior Ecologist, your role will involve the following:
21. Manage and take ownership of projects
22. Undertake EIA-level ecological reporting and assessment (EcIA)
23. Prepare fee proposals for major, and multidisciplinary projects
24. Work at the other offices when required
25. Work away from home as required to complete site surveys
26. Undertake risk assessments as necessary
27. Develop the practices of ecology work, particularly in the East Midlands, London and the South-East
