Conflicts Analyst – International Law Firm
Fully Remote
We are partnering with a leading international law firm seeking a Conflicts Analyst to join its global Risk & New Business Intake team on a remote basis. This role plays a key part in supporting the firm’s risk management processes through the review and analysis of conflict of interest checks for new client matters and lateral hires, ensuring compliance with professional obligations and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct corporate and background research to verify parties and identify related entities.
* Maintain and update conflicts database records and perform conflict searches.
* Review new matter requests, engagement documentation, and scope details for policy and regulatory compliance.
* Analyse conflicts reports and assist with the resolution of identified issues in collaboration with legal teams.
* Support special projects including lateral hires, ethical screens, and complex firm initiatives.
* Contribute to training, process improvements, and system enhancements within the Conflicts function.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience within a law firm conflicts, new business intake, or legal support environment.
* Strong analytical, research, and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
* Experience with conflicts or intake systems (e.g., InTapp) preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
