We are seeking a skilled MIG Welder to join our manufacturing or fabrication team. Youll be responsible for producing high-quality welds on steel and aluminium components, working from technical drawings and maintaining a safe, efficient workspace.

Responsibilities Complete MIG welding operations on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium, in line with blueprints and work instructions.
Set up welding equipmentadjust gas flow, wire feed rate, torch angle, and weld parameters.
Inspect welds for quality: check fusion, penetration, bead shape, and detect defects.
Read and interpret welding symbols, engineering drawings, and production documentation.
Prepare metal surfaces: grinding, cleaning, removing slag and contaminants.
Ensure welding equipment is maintained, consumables replaced, and faults reported.
Follow health & safety procedures: PPE usage, fume extraction, and machine safeguarding.
Keep the workstation organised, support housekeeping, and dispose of waste safely.
Liaise with fabricators, supervisors, and quality control to ensure on-time, on-spec production
